Tournament bracket maker · Android & iOS
Brackets in seconds. Winners in one tap.
Bracket Maker turns a list of names into a running tournament - single and double elimination, round robin, groups + playoffs, Swiss or a league phase. Tap the winner or enter the score set by set, and the bracket moves on. Share the whole thing to the chat as an image or PDF. Fully offline, no ads, no account.
A look inside
The whole app in six screens
Real captures, not mockups - the same six that run on the store listing: a bracket scored set by set, the six formats, sharing as an image or PDF, a live standings table, your own color in dark mode, and the free score counter.

How it works
From a list in the chat to a crowned champion
No spreadsheets, no paper, no redrawing the bracket when someone shows up late. One phone runs the whole event.
Paste the names
Type them in, or paste the whole list straight from the group chat. Playing doubles? Shuffle people into teams of two with one tap.
Pick the format
Single or double elimination, round robin, groups + playoffs, Swiss or a league phase. Byes come out fair for 7, 10, 13 - any count from 2 to 256.
Tap the winners
A result is one tap; the score is optional, set by set when you want it. The bracket advances, standings update live, and the app always shows who plays next.
Share the picture
The whole bracket - even 64 teams - renders as one crisp image for the chat, or a PDF for the clubhouse wall.
Features
Built for the organizer with a phone in one hand
Everything a tournament night actually needs - and none of the things that break it halfway through.
Six formats, all unlocked
Single and double elimination, round robin, groups + playoffs, Swiss and a league phase. All open from your first tournament, with fair byes for any count from 2 to 256.
Scores, sets and draws
Winner in one tap, or a best of three, five or seven entered set by set. Draws count wherever a table decides, with your own points for a win, a draw and a loss.
Standings and tiebreaks
The table re-sorts after every match - points, score difference and, in Swiss, Buchholz. Fixing an old result clears only what depended on it.
Dropouts, walkovers, re-seeding
Someone dropped out? Walkover or replace them without remaking the bracket. Reorder and re-seed until the first match starts.
A free score counter
Not every game needs a bracket. Add the players, give each one a color and tap + as the points come in - free for everyone, no purchase needed.
Share as an image or PDF
Share the full bracket to any chat as a single readable picture, or export a PDF. 64 teams stay legible.
No ads, no account, offline
Every move autosaves on your phone and works with no signal. No sign-up, no banners, and nothing you create goes to a server of ours.
Your color, thirty languages
Pick your main color, in light or dark. Thirty languages, from English and Ukrainian to Japanese, Korean and Arabic.
Pricing
The first tournament is free. Fully.
Every format, up to 256 participants, image and PDF sharing - your first tournament shows the whole product and stays usable forever. Pay only when you come back for the next one.
Tournament Pass
One payment for one busy month. Not a subscription - it simply ends, nothing to remember to cancel.
Yearly
For the league that meets every week. Renews automatically - cancel anytime in your store account.
Lifetime
One payment, every future update included. Not a subscription - buy it and forget the pricing page exists.
All three unlock the same thing: creating tournaments beyond the free first one. Prices in US dollars; your app store shows them in your local currency, so the exact amount can differ by country. The Yearly plan renews automatically until cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account; the Pass and Lifetime never renew. Purchases are billed by Apple or Google - see the Terms of Use.
FAQ
Fair questions, straight answers
The things organizers ask before trusting an app with their tournament night.
What is Bracket Maker?
A tournament bracket maker for Android, iPhone and iPad. You type or paste a list of names, pick one of six formats, and the app draws the bracket, seeds it, distributes the byes and keeps the whole event running as you enter the results. One organizer with a phone runs the night; nobody else installs anything.
Does Bracket Maker work offline?
Yes, fully. Tournaments, brackets, results and shared images live on your phone, and every feature works with the radio off. Nothing you create goes to a server of ours - the only copies that ever leave the phone are the ones your own iCloud or Google backup makes, and the images you choose to share.
Do players need to install anything?
No. The organizer is the only one who needs the app. Players and spectators just see the bracket image you share to the chat - they never pay and never install anything.
Which sports and games is it for?
Anything decided by one match between two sides: table tennis, padel, tennis, badminton, squash, football, basketball, volleyball, darts, pool, chess, board games, card games and esports. The app tracks names, rounds and results, not sport-specific statistics, so the same bracket serves all of them.
How many players can one tournament have?
From 2 to 256, and every count in between. Teams count the same way: 16 teams is a 16-participant tournament, whatever the size of each team.
Which tournament formats are supported?
Single elimination, double elimination, round robin, a group stage followed by playoffs, Swiss and a league phase. All six are available from your first tournament, at any count from 2 to 256, with fair byes wherever the number does not fit.
How does double elimination work?
Losing once drops you into the losers bracket instead of out of the tournament, and the two halves meet in the grand final. If the losers-bracket winner takes that match, the app plays the grand final reset - the decider both sides have earned.
How does a group stage work?
Participants are split into groups that play round robin, and the standings table updates as results come in: played, won, drawn, lost, score difference and points. The top finishers move into a playoff bracket the app seeds from those standings, and you can override the seeding by hand before the first match.
How does the Swiss system work?
Nobody is knocked out. Each round pairs players on the same score, avoiding rematches, and the table ranks them by points with Buchholz - the sum of their opponents’ points - as the tiebreak. You set the number of rounds; it suits chess clubs and any field too big for everyone to play everyone.
What is the league phase?
One table for the whole field, but each participant plays only a set number of matches, against opponents drawn from seeding pots - the format big European club competitions now use. After it, the top places go straight into a knockout and the next ones play a play-in for the remaining spots.
What happens when the player count is not a power of two?
The app hands out byes - a free pass into the next round - and spreads them evenly across the bracket. Ten players never means six byes, and after a group stage the playoff always comes out at the right size.
Can I split a list of people into teams?
Yes. Enter everyone, set a team size, and the app shuffles them into teams of that size and enters the teams as the participants. You can also type the teams in yourself if the sides are already decided.
Can I record scores, or only the winner?
Either. A result is one tap on the winner, and the score is optional - enter goals or points, or play a best of three, five or seven set by set. Draws count wherever a table decides, with your own points for a win, a draw and a loss.
What if a player drops out mid-tournament?
Record a walkover for the match they missed, or replace them with someone else. Neither remakes the bracket. Before the first match starts you can still reorder participants or shuffle the seeding entirely.
Can I fix a result I entered by mistake?
Yes, and correcting an old result clears only the results that depended on it - never the whole bracket. Undo is available throughout.
How do I share or print the bracket?
The whole bracket renders as one image, readable even at 64 teams, and goes to any chat like a photo. For printing there is a PDF, and a backup file saves the tournament itself so you can move it to another phone.
Can I keep score in a game without a bracket?
Yes, with the score counter, which is free for everyone. Start a game, add the players, give each one a color and tap + or − as the points come in, or tap a score to type it. The leader is highlighted, and any change can be undone.
Which devices and languages does it support?
Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad. The interface ships in thirty languages, from English and Ukrainian to Japanese, Korean and Arabic, and follows your system language unless you pick another in Settings.
What is free in Bracket Maker?
Your first tournament, full-featured: every format, 2–256 participants, image and PDF sharing. It stays fully usable forever, and the score counter is free for everyone. Paying unlocks creating more tournaments - and nothing that is free ever moves behind the paywall.
Is Bracket Maker a subscription?
Only if you want it to be. The Tournament Pass ($4.99 for 30 days) and Lifetime ($39.99) are one-time purchases that never renew. The Yearly plan ($14.99 a year) is the one auto-renewing option, and you can cancel it anytime in your store account.
What happens when my Tournament Pass ends?
Everything you created stays on your phone, readable and exportable. Data never expires in Bracket Maker - a finished pass only means you buy again to create new tournaments.
